All orders are processed within 1–3 business days after payment confirmation.
Live birds and hatching eggs are scheduled based on availability, weather conditions, and animal readiness.
Custom or bulk farm orders may require additional preparation time.
Customers receive a confirmation notification once their order is prepared for shipment.
Orders are processed Monday through Friday, excluding public holidays.
2. Shipping Coverage
Eggstraordinary Chicken currently ships:
Within approved domestic regions
To selected neighboring countries (subject to agricultural regulations)
Bulk farm orders via approved livestock transport partners
International shipping availability depends on import/export livestock regulations, veterinary documentation, and quarantine requirements.
3. Live Bird Shipping Policy
Because animal welfare is our priority, we follow strict poultry transport standards:
- Age Requirements
Day-old chicks are shipped within 24 hours of hatching.
Growers and adult birds are shipped only when healthy and certified fit for transport. - Packaging Standards
Ventilated poultry transport boxes
Temperature-conscious packaging
Adequate spacing to prevent stress
Hydration support materials when necessary - Weather Restrictions
Live birds will not be shipped during extreme weather conditions (excessive heat, cold, storms, or unsafe transport conditions). In such cases, shipments may be delayed for safety.
4. Hatching Egg Shipping Policy
Eggstraordinary Chicken ensures careful handling of fertile eggs:
Eggs are individually inspected before packing
Wrapped securely with protective cushioning
Labeled as fragile agricultural products
Shipped within 3–5 days of collection for optimal fertility
While we use secure packaging methods, hatch rates may vary due to handling during transit, incubation practices, and environmental conditions. Hatch success cannot be guaranteed once eggs leave our facility.
5. Delivery Timeframes
Estimated delivery times:
Local Deliveries: 1–3 business days
Regional Deliveries: 2–5 business days
Bulk Farm Orders: Scheduled based on transport arrangements
Delivery times may vary due to location, regulatory inspections, or transportation conditions.
6. Shipping Fees
Shipping costs are calculated based on:
Order size and weight
Product type (live birds, eggs, equipment)
Delivery destination
Special handling requirements
Exact shipping costs are provided at checkout or via custom quotation for bulk orders.
7. Tracking & Notifications
Customers receive:
- Order confirmation
- Shipment confirmation
- Tracking details (where applicable)
- Delivery notification
For livestock deliveries arranged through farm transport partners, coordination will be done directly with the customer.
8. Damaged or DOA (Dead on Arrival) Policy For live birds
Any DOA claims must be reported within 2 hours of delivery.
Clear photos and videos must be provided as evidence.
Compensation may include replacement or store credit (shipping fees may apply).
For eggs:
Cracked or visibly damaged eggs must be reported within 12 hours of delivery.
Photographic proof is required.
Failure to report within the specified time frame voids eligibility for review.
9. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for:
Providing accurate shipping information
Being available to receive live poultry deliveries
Preparing proper brooder or housing before arrival
Following recommended care guidelines
Eggstraordinary Chicken is not responsible for losses due to improper housing, incorrect brooding temperatures, or poor incubation management.
10. Regulatory Compliance
All shipments comply with:
Local livestock transportation laws
Veterinary health certification requirements
Agricultural and biosecurity regulations
Customers are responsible for ensuring poultry ownership is permitted in their area before placing an order.
11. Order Changes & Cancellations
Orders may be modified within 24 hours of placement.
Live poultry orders cannot be canceled once prepared for shipment.
Custom or bulk orders may require a non-refundable deposit.
